Winter Walk on Rosebud Pier

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ The air now may be laden with winter chills, but a brave soul rugged up and took a "relaxing" walk along Rosebud pier on Port Phillip Bay, Mornington Peninsula.
Energising!
Exhilerating!
Can't wait for a hot chocolate!

Layered chunks of warmth
Take a walk on the wild side
A pumped winter walk

Brrrr! That's a brave soul. Love the rocks at the base of the pier and all the birds and clouds.

Your picture transports me back to the Virginia Beach pier my husband and I went for our honeymoon. Except we went in the summer not winter. Your words are fitting for the coldness that shows through this pic. Have a great day.

Lol, it's hard to imagine cold from here as we are in the midst of Saharan hot season but the picture is beautiful!

What a beautifully named pier. It is far more enchanting than the one we have here.

I just can't believe it's winter there already, seemed like just yesterday everyone was in shorts at the beach...

However, you can tell that summer isn't quite here yet, 80 today, but quite chilly tonight...that's OK though, good for sleeping.

We are a bit sick of the rain though, but it sure did make my strawberries plump right up...yumm...wish I could send ya a bowl.

Have a great week friend and big warm hugs!

I like walking along the waters in wintertime too. The slap of icy cold air on my face is refreshing.

Is the weather turned wintry already?

Even though it may be cold, I find it refreshing to breathe in the sea air. Thanks for sharing.

To walk on the water, it is nice to have the same spot and come back and take more photos.

I´m sitting here (summer) and look at winter I am not used to it yet (Internet)

Winter here too but no rain. I was just thinking about a hot chocolate myself!

It is a great sky, but the woman makes it personal. Hot chocolate - is a great idea - with 3 marshmallows in it:) that is how I take it!

I think I would really enjoy that walk and wouldn't mind the chilled air at all as I enjoyed the wind in my face and the smell of that salt air as I walked out over the water.

That looks like quite a nice place to take a walk, even if it's cold ...invigorating ... a great place to bring your senses alive.

Love the words that go with your post..

I love seeing the birds all swirling around the pier. I would grab my hot chocolate and go for a morning walk here anytime!
