i live very close to the california wine country,, in fact i used to live in sonoma county where a lot of the california wineries are.. vineyards can be quite beautiful in an orderly sort of way.. especially when they are terraced on a mountain side....

Such a beautiful sky you captured Gemma! Glad you liked the post! My daughter had me email the link to her teacher so that she could see it....happy Sunday!

Beautiful haiku to compliment the sweet scented air from your mountain vineyard. It's full of peace that place. I said this because I used to work in a vineyard.

Thanks for coming to visit my skywatch blog.

Hi Gemma, I've not been here for a while due to Internet constraints. No more thank goodness. I have unlimited (well almost) access and intend to visit blogs all over the world. Your skywatch photo is beautiful, and I love your poem. I was unable to post on SkyWatch this week because of some problem with Mr Linky. Many bloggers struggled with the same. Have a beautiful Sunday and be blessed during the coming week. (((Hugs))) from a wintry South Africa.

I know it will be hard Gemma for you to post for summer since you're in the middle of winter but that's okay...we'll soon be wishing it's winter again! Ha! :)

Oh Gemma I'm sorry I know you weren't posting for summer... you commented on my "Shadow Shot Sunday" post. I post for entirely too many memes! :)

Another lovely place I would love to see in person. We are thinking of taking a trip to Australia next winter, would love to see this.
