That's fun! It must be a really cheery sight on a cold morning, a reminder of summer days.

Great patterns on the blank wall . Nice shot.

The boathouse seems to have the summer fun boat parked safely inside. Yet the mural gives a glimpse of summer fun on either a petrol or wind powered watercraft. Yet the boy just floating lazily is a wonderfully relaxing reminder of summer to arrive again...

This is such a cute Shadow Shot. It is just getting to warm up a bit here for our summer, so a float in a tube on the river sounds good to me!!

The mural is to prod the memory when winter rules! I am turning into a summer person, no doubt about it.

Your shadow shots and descriptive words are always such fun surprises! What a great boatshed painting, and the shadows look like they blend right in! We've been floating and tubing a lot during our HOT & humid Missouri summer.

Lovely shadows at play. This reminds me of how much softer shadows appear to be in the winter. Mine are so harsh right now.

Now that's a super cute boat shed! Looking at those bright colours, blue sky and sunshine, it appears very summery! A nice photo to take our minds off winter for a while :)

Hello old friend, I'm late posting to everyone, I have to keep turning off the computer because of all the lightning...that leads to a very long day...looks like my lawn mowing will be left for tomorrow, better a work day anyway...right...who am I kidding, for me they're all workdays...and like the quote on Tracey's blog...
The butterfly counts not months, but moments, and has time enough...

I love that, if we in our society could only slow down a bit, time enough to smell the roses...wouldn't life be so much brighter!!!

I think this is why I strive for a shop at my home, it's a very short commute, 35 feet, stuff dreams are made of, and the 2-3 month wait for it to be built is only a flash in time and I'll certainly make good use of the time to compile inventory.

This will be interesting putting together a shop/slash/studio, where furniture will be prepared for display and displayed in good time, all under the same roof. No set hours, if you see my truck, I'm open...moment to moment...the rest of the time, plenty of ol' timey lawn chairs to sit and ponder my next projects.

I never tire of the whirlwind in my mind, the smallest thoughts can be spun into magical creations and this new space will take a different twist than my usual. The samplers I'm making now have a spiritual affirmational(is this a word) twist, instead of my normal man bashing. A place of spiritual harmony and gardens of beauty to rest ones weary, worldly bones...a place to 'sit a spell' and be humbled...I now keep a pad and pen handy for the thoughts whirling in the ol' melon...ha!

My life will change from this point on, it's in the stars and I've heard the message loud and clear...all we have to do is pay attention and read between the lines...and since I don't have the sea near to me, I'll create my own...well, a pond anyway...

Follow your dreams dearest friend...they're just around the corner...if you see clearly!!!

Happy hugs and a smooch from a faraway land...Iowa, USA...
