Good morning on this fine Sunday morning. :)
Great gifts!
A Great Photo with great poem!
Thank you for the insights on gifts.
Knowledge and Wisdom are indeed wonderful gifts, Gemma! Unfortunately, there are many who do not realize that having Knowledge does not necessarily mean you also have Wisdom.
I like the way you put this - and there's a lot of truth in it.
I was really intrigued by these, especially the way you assigned the colors. Perhaps it represents the earthly and the elevated?
Extraordinary poem. A wonderful play on the two forms of "saving"!! Saving money (being in the "black" instead of the "red") and saving the soul (being pure or "white" instead of sinful and stained- no longer white). Bravo!
Nicely put. Clearly you have stored up both knowledge and widsom in your Spirit's bank.
Wonderful gifts, for sure!
Hi Gemma
Your post reminds me of an old (hippy days) song, Black and White by Three Dog Night:
First verse:
"The ink is black, the page is white
Together we learn to read and write
A child is black, a child is white
The whole world looks upon the sight, a beautiful sight"
Thank you for the memory, it means a lot more too but this is enough to tell.
..
Perfect Gemma! I will contemplate your words again and again. Great take on this wonderful prompt.

Sheesh--that is good writing--
Wisdom has always seemed to be the soulful combination of experience and knowledge--
Thank you for this, Gemma-
I must mirror the others and thank you for these pithy lines of insight. I anticipate many layers here.
gemma, as always soothing and insightful...
perfect balance, the two together are indeed a gift
