This short poem captures the image perfectly. I love watching the storm waves come on-shore at home, its as you described it:

Dramatic water ballet

I love the sound of the surf (I can hear it, can't you?), the foam on the water, the waves, the smell of the sea air (Yes, I can!) ...very nice.

I can hear those waves too and if I close my eyes I can smell that salt air as well. :-)

Wow...great shot! Makes you really feel the raging power of the water and the stormy feel of the day.

Love that surf shot, Gemma! You're lucky you are going into summer. Summer is over here, New York City! :(

This leaves me longing for a trip to the beach!
I think that's the first pier I have ever seen with one side open.

That is a wonderful shot! Makes me want to just let the waves touch my feet.

I love the ocean waves. How were you lucky enough to get a pier with no people on it?

Wild waters is right! I had to wonder whether this was near the end of a storm, or if worse was yet to come.
