A Little Magic!

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Sweet Repose scents of magic
~
Today, a little Sweet Repose magic found its way to my Mornington Peninsula.
Even though it had travelled all the way from Iowa
It arrived well composed
Waiting for some shaking delight
To venture through
Sweet little boxes
Bubble wrap
And a few vagrant pieces of foam.
~
Mini winking treasures
In a cave of shadows

When each wonder was finally revealed
The moment needed a lens
To hold the magic
Together
~
An old baker's basket
Some verandah textures
And the frenzy of scents and colours
~
Tantalising
Smiling
Tableau

Balm for the spirit

My pleasure...to spread the gift of friendship while the world is in chaos all around,it's the one thing they can't steal away.

As the simple, sweet scent of a flower can bring a smile, so too will a book of poems and trinkets from the heart, they made me think of you dear friend.

Though we have never met, I feel I know your heart and the pleasure is all mine.

But I have to tell ya, we have a joke here in Iowa, out of towners always say...Iowa isn't that where they grow potatoes...NO THAT IS IDAHO...and being from Australia, you would have no clue what I am talking about...but it made me smile...that is why I call it Iowa, the Lost Continent...nobody knows where we are...and that is OK too! LOL...

Thank you for the sweet words,
sharon

Treasures indeed. I love the part about the bubble wrap.
