kites are lovely when seen flapping in the sky on a windy day

We could fly kites today, it is so windy and cold, but the sun keeps peaking through, sharing losing battles to winter.

I hope your day was a special one, little mouse. Warm thoughts friend!

Love the kite photos and the poetry. Brings back childhood, except I always had difficulty getting the thing in the air.

Truth be told, I still haven't flown a kite! I wish someday I will.

My entries are posted here and here.

Kite is a super choice for today.
Such a lot depends on the sky you are forced to set it against.

Love the words! They flew me away!

As a child was there ever such a triumphant feeling as when able to get a kite into the air and sailing!?

I've always loved kites and kite flying.

The poem is beautiful, too!

I can't believe that I never thought about K is for KITE for ABC Wednesday.
Have you started thinking and looking at things alphabetically like I have since joining ABC Wednesday?

No weather to fly a kite here now! It's so stormy! No wonder it's autumn here! Great post!

Your words give 'wings' to kites as well. Lovely photos too.
Would you say it is a Libra thing to like to knit berets? They're my favorite hat.
Happy Wednesday!
