Good Morning, Gemma~ I really enjoyed looking at these pictures of the sky and reading your poem. Loved your perspective on the clouds... seeing them as mountains.

I have a blog award waiting for you "here" when you're ready to pick it up. Have a nice day.

When I was a child, I used to sit on a swivel chair on the driveway of my Grandparent's house in Florida and watch the clouds forming great shapes. Mine were mostly of horses, roaming free in the brilliance of the Florida cloudscapes...always animals in my fantasies, I was free to own them in my mind.

Beautiful cloudscapes in your part of the world.

Always friend,
sharon

That's a beautiful sequence of shots and it looks like we have the same kind of wind chimes. I have a lot of different ones but the one in the first shot looks like one of the types I have.

Beautiful pictures Gemma. I like your blog.

I had a sad childhood too, when my mother died in 1966 (I was 10 yrs old). My father essentially tore up his parent card and emotionally walked away from me. We never made up. He died alone and unhappy. Me ... I'm happy and not alone! I decided early to NOT be like him and the theory worked. Hope you are happy too girl, I can tell you deserve it.

God bless ya!! Have a Blessed Day! Sparky ♥ ∞ (of Patterson, Georgia USA)

Gemma: What a nice collection of clouds building and ebbing. I've had people think I had mountains when the clouds build-up behind a lake.

Hi Gemma, I can't quite figure out the item in the first picture. Is it a wind chime hanging by the window?

Happy skywatch!! :)
