I work for one of the causes with a ribbon. After ten years, my hope for a miracle fades as funding follows trends and people cease to feel vulnerable.
One of my mentors said to me "I grow weary of the fabric response to this disease." I agree - but if the fabric response gives us a voice...well, we need to use it, whether we are weary of it or not!

any more i am forced to wonder,, if they are badges of hope.. or superiority... i know that is certainly the devils viewpoint.. i have become i guess far to cynical...
