Seashell Shadow

Seashell on Rosebud beach, Mornington Peninsula

Beauty cast on sands
Like an exile from the sea
Like a frame of life

This is beautiful! It almost looks like a leaf lying in the sand.

The lone scallop shell sits on the sand, its shapely countenance brightening up the drab wet sand. It stands out nicely!

an unusual shell, and lovely it is! I would want to pick it up after taking the shot if I had been the lucky one to see it.

Lovely shell. Looking for shells is my favorite thing to do at the beach. I can walk for miles along the water's edge searching for that perfect shell. Plus the sound of the ocean is amazing.
Happy Sunday!

"Exile from the sea..." I love that phrase. The delicate colors and rich textures here are really beautiful.
