Oh Gemma this is so unfair! Even your long shadow looks younger and more beautiful than mine does (last week's SSS). Of course half a century or so difference in age might mean something!

It's a lovely photo!

Oh, I love your long, lovely shadow! How fun! And I love the idea of shadows leading to the beach -- my favorite place! Love your words as always! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Gemma!

Although the steps descend, the photo artist is growing in the opposite. Neat effects, the long shadows of autumn add height in the inverse. Nice!

It is good to be tall, you'll get to the beach much faster this way...ha!

I hope your week wasn't crazy busy again and you got some 'me' time in there. Going to the beach even in Autumn would be all it took for me to relax...the sounds, the smells, the gems washed ashore, you know my longing!

We've had quite a few people in the new store and have heard rave reviews from everyone. They all love the new location so much better, the parking isn't a hassle anymore, plenty of room without being hassled by the meter Nazis...

It's such a beautiful spring day today, warm air and cool breezes, make working in the gardens a pleasure, I savor every second. I picked a pan full of huge, juicy red strawberries after work, wish I could send ya some...one for the pan, one for me...and on and on...hey, it's only fair, right!

The flowers are really starting to take off now, you can smell hints of them in the air, I think I'll sit outside tonight for a spell, lots to be heard out there as soon as the traffic dies down. I especially love the tree frogs, you know summer is approaching...if only it would never go away...sigh...

Have a great week ahead my little pen pal, I'm sending you big blooming hugs from my gardens dearest sister, be well!

I'm super envious of how tall you are Gemma! I'd kill for legs like yours! A fun shot! Have yourself a great week. I'm betting it's starting to get quite chilly where you are :)

You're second tall person this Sunday! :)
Why do I feel very very short...

Happy SSS from Casa,
have a great week ahead!

Very nice, Gemma. I am always fascinated by the length a shadow can achieve as the sun goes down. As a human, I've never sen it, but conceivably a shadow is infinite at some point. That would mean that standing and looking at the sunset, my head is hiding the light somewhere.
Another great shot. Thanks.

Peace.

That's a really cool shot! I love the gentle curve of the steps and the quality of the light is really nice too.
