AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Yard Art in Transit

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ A townhouse by the beach in Rosebud, Mornington Peninsula has a tiny front porch facing a tiny front garden.
On the porch is this interesting "sculpture" with a flat surface.
It seems to have transformed from an artistic to a practical life.
Or is it living both?

Both! I hope everyone who lives in the house believes that the lovely pedestal is art with a purpose. Why not? I hate when I hear people say they have beautiful things locked away somewhere. Art should be part of life.
