How wonderful to be able to see cockatoos in the wild, and you got great pictres of them! We have wild parrots in St. Augustine, but I've never seen cockatoos in the wild. My SIL raises them, and she would adore this post. Have you seen Snoball, the dancing cockatoo on You-Tube? You must google that if you haven't, Gemma. He's wonderful!

Happy Blue Monday...

Gemma, So ironic that you posted Cockatoos today. We had our family reunion picnic yesterday and a lady approached us at the park in search of her pet Cockatoo. It flew off of her shoulder, as she was strolling through the park....(Don't ask me why she was taking her bird for a walk....) ~ Happy Blue Monday! ~ Robyn

Fantastic! I'm not used to seeing these guys in the wild like this, much less in such a poignant pose.
