Blue Silhouettes, Illusions and Reflections

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ View through my lounge-room window.
Blue silhouettes of birds are on the window and there are multiple reflections (from the opposite window) of the blue sky.
The magpie on the archway is real.

Wow! What a view. Beautiful birds. Neat blog, too. I was in Victoria in 1984 when I was 23. Way before you were born.
God bless.

Gemma,

Viewing the photograph and reading your poetry gave me a poetic thought on where reality ends and where the product of imagining begins. It's like viewing the horizon in the sea where you could not tell where the earth ends and the heaven begins.

You captured this rare contrast in a picture in such a story-filled imagery in photography.

You captured surrealism in words in the minimalist haiku form.

Your gift proves once again to show that you can create magic!

I wish you well.

I loved the bluebirds on your window with a real magpie perching in the picture as well.
Have a very happy blue monday and a fabulous week.

Nice - real bird seen between to fake ones. I should get some of those silhouette thingies. I had bird brain itself on a window the other day :(
