Something so simple, yet joyful. All of our senses delight in water.

Yes, what is this lure to water...to float unaware like a waterbug, just in the moment, swirling arms and kicking legs, we just float in a magic sea of joy. Maybe it's a primal birthing rite...who knows, but just to walk the shore, waves lapping at heals is something I long for...I live too far from the sea and the healing waters...that is a certain.

Hope your weekend was wonderful, watching pony's in the surf...ahhhh, paradise! Maybe I'll haunt the surf of the Mighty Mississippi today, hunting for shadow shots no doubt...big bunny hugs my dearest friend too...

I love your poem. I grew up on the other side of the Pacific (California) and always loved autumn at the beach, the movement of the waves made me think of the ocean as a wild living creature.

The difference between these images and sounds and 'dead water' is palpable.

Thanks for the words, but I like the photo best!
