AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

soft summer light...

Skies a year ago at Mornington.
Today's skies are just a rather uninteresting bland grey.
But I see a small chink of sunlight.
There is hope.

The beaches in Oregon can be like that too ... gray in the middle of summer some days. But when the sun shines, it is worth the wait. I know your Mornington is the same way from pictures you've posted.

Happy New Year!
