These are today's summer morning skies before another heat wave predicted to be 44 degrees centigrade.
(Yesterday morning's pre heat wave skies are on my Mornington Peninsula blog HERE.)
There is a kind of eerie light mist.
This is the 4th day in a row of heat wave conditions.
So far, my peninsula has had one fire which was promptly water bombed.

Beautiful photos, I miss the heat here.
Just before being here I visited Barb up in the mountains of Colorado, who has been snowbound for a few days due to blizzard conditions. What an amazing world we live in, and how incredible to be able to visit you both virtually!
It has been a very cold winter here. Summer (June, July, August) will be hot, but hopefully not as hot as yours. Hope you get some relief from the high temperatures soon.
I like the second photo best
Happy Sky Watch Friday!

Those temperatures are nasty! I am glad the fire didn't reach you!
Wonderful shots!
Flooding occurs in some areas here. Stay cool there.
