What a wonderful shot - nice composition.
Your haiku is spot on. Watching the dancing flames one can be transfixed. There is a certain beauty but I understood the opponents of open fires as well.

Mine's at Round The Bend.

Great shot! Hot, hot fire...can feel the dryness in the air and the plants and earth...hang in there--cooler weather's coming!

Hope you are well, Gemma--

flames can be so beautiful
it always amazes me how beauty and destruction can go hand in hand

Wow, talk about deja vu. This could be the site of a Texas ranch I visited about 18 months ago and the fire and brush burning there. Thanks for the nice reminder.
