The subtle plant is shaped nicely, the pointed ends almost like spikes. The shadow, on the other hand, is cot so pointed. We know what the shadow follows, but its bigger, closer to a blob than the original. But the angled sun creates illusory shadows. Nice weather in Oz, too cold up here...

Haha! As long as the day was? Or maybe it flew by! I love those spikey shadows sprawled against the wall! So you are on holidays now Gemma? Woohoo! I have another week and a half of work before holidays. I hope my last week and a half will be much shorter than those shadows of yours. Happy holidays! :)

Boy, am I with ya on the pooped out part...with the moving of the shop and Christmas fast approaching, my dog groomings have picked up, so more labor intensive work there too.

But the fun part is putting the shop back together again, we're spread out all over the place...the hard part is trying to move furniture on a dolly when there's several inches of packed snow and ice on everything. It's starting to thaw, but that makes for a mucky mess that gets all over everything, your shoes get wet, your cuffs are wet and you track in a mess everywhere.

Then the sun never comes out, making the day more miserable, as the temps plummet to single digits...but, the other night around midnight as I was driving home, a big beautiful comet streaked the sky in front of my truck...so I made a wish...now we wait for the powers of the universe to pull through...ha! Lorie and I placed pennies in the four corners of the new shop, a tribute to the four winds, as a sign of prosperity...an old Indian custom...HOPE!

Hope your warm summer shines through for you soon, it's just food for the soul...I haven't had much time either for those picture shooting drives, then when I do find something interesting to shoot, the traffic is right on my bumper and I can't focus...SLOW DOWN WORLD...gimme a break!

I know you know how to slow time and dream...think of me as you're walking your Dromana Shores and dreaming of distant shores...that's where I await your thoughts, far, far away...

Sending you much love and warm dreams from afar sweet friend!!!

Hugs...s
