
Ambidexterity, or being ambidextrous, is the ability to use two hands or two feet equally. As only humans and parrots (90% use their left foot) are known to have an appendage bias, ambidexterity, then, becomes a unique study of interest when the subjects are human beings. Interesting topic. I use opposite hands for different maneuvers. I am right handed although I slalom water ski with my left foot. I drive the small motor boat with my left hand and crochet with either! I cannot write well with my left hand or sew with it. So I am not truly ambidextrous. Parrots really are 90% lefties?
