Dappled hints of light
Balanced wisps of fantasy
Almost a real deer

Boy I'm late getting to everyone, but Dad and I have been thawing out my frozen pipes...hence the poem. We've had record cold this year and arctic winds so the ground was frozen down 4 feet. No water or bathroom facilities...argh...but I love your little fawn hiding in the shadow, I've seen many like this on my walks in the meadows.

Have a wonderful week friend!

Frosty the Snow-woman...it was wind-chill of 32 below zero that day, I never wear a scarf over my face, but you couldn't breath...brrr...byebye...s

That's such a sweet shadow shot Gemma. I adore your little deer. Much more interesting than any ol' garden variey gnome ;)

I agree with Tracy - much more interesting than your usual garden gnome!

You always amazes me with all your sweet garden ornaments.

So dramatic shot! Well, you always had.

Cheers for Sunday evening & a great week ahead.

Love the contrast of light and shadow. I think if the deer had no horns, she could easily be a cat basking in your garden.
