Pic by Gemma wiseman ~ This is a rock offshore from Brighton beach, Melbourne.
There is a distinct round hole in it partway up.
Would water weathering do this?

The hole gives the impression of an eye in the head of a great sea creature. Great photo.
i've always enjoyed spotting such markings in rocks. always makes one wonder how it was formed. great capture. hope all is well.

That is one interesting hole! Cool pic!
