It's so strange to think that summer is coming for you and some of my other friends ... while we are just now stepping into winter. This beautiful leafy green and sunny picture makes me very nostalgic for that late spring and early summer time of year!!! But it gives me something to look forward to as well.

Oh, I love your summery, green, leafy, gorgeous shadows!!! And, yes, keep them coming! We do have a little sun today, but it's going to be vanishing very quickly! Enjoy your lovely spring weekend, Gemma!

This is a lovely neighborhood with its mix of sun and shadow. The tree lined street feels inviting to guests, a quite place to walk and reflect. Happily in Oz, you are approaching summer - this picture shows a warm day, so I may have to refer to it as the winter snows arrive around here...

Melbourne seems such a lovely city!

Well, all I can say is...sigh...you just keep on sending us those summer thoughts and dreamy pictures and we'll pretend that it's just outside the door, as the furnace kicks on again, putting us straight back to reality.

I know you can feel our dismay, just from the photos and the comments of dread and hardship us Northerners face, some more than others...it is what it is...(but I don't have to like it)!!!

You sound like you're having so much fun with the kids, yet anxious for the break, you certainly deserve it...now you won't have to think so much(yeah right)!!!

Head for that shoreline and send some salty summer airs thisaway...I'll be waitin' with my eyes closed and my dreamin' cap on, wishing for cheap airline tickets to Australia...ha!

Have a wonderful, quick week till FREEDOM!!! Thinkin' of ya sissy!!!

Just gorgeous, as soon as I saw this I thought of these lyrics :

"Summers here and the time is right for dancing in the street.."
Only thing is I don't remember who sings it.

Have a great week.

That looks like a lovely footpath to be taking a stroll down. And look at all that glorious sunshine! I've almost forgotten what sunshine looks like lately! Hope you have a super week ahead Gemma :)

What is it about seeing the opposite season from what one is experiencing at the moment? The feelings are jarring and envious for this post! I sitting here wrapped in warm layers and you are perhaps basking and frolicking in the warmth of summer.
Ahhhh....

Shadows on the sidewalk are just asking to be turned into ShadowShots! Hard to imagine summer right now. Here I am up to my armpits in snow!!

What a lovely leafy street. I suppose it's spring down there, and don't think for a minute that I'm even the tiniest bit envious...okay, I'm enormously envious...
