That slug is amazing~
Gemma! I thought for a minute that you were visiting Oregon! Eugene has a late summer celebration that features crowning of a "Slug Queen" -- a silly take off on beauty pageants. Anyway, the real things are very prevalant here in the spring and summer. I love the photo.
Looks like a leopard slug. Nice find! These slugs are actually FAST for a slug, believe it or not.
