Curious Dove

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Dove on my roof in the Dromana Hills, Mornington Peninsula.
I loved its wide eyed inquisitive look and the clearly marked patterns on its feathers.

That is the craziest little shawl your Dove has! It reminds me of the Fox stole my Grandmother used to wear! Wonderful shot.

Great photo of the dove. They are a nice looking bird but they are taking over from the native species up here in SE Qld.

I love Doves. We have a lot of mourning doves here but I have yet to get a good shot of one. Your picture is very nice!

Nice shot of the Spotted Dove Gemma! I'm sorry to hear that the spread of this introduced (non-native) species is threatening the native doves.

They are great at fence sitting, a bit like politicians.

What an interesting looking Dove. It makes the Mourning Doves here look quite plain and boring.
