Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Dove on my roof in the Dromana Hills, Mornington Peninsula.
I loved its wide eyed inquisitive look and the clearly marked patterns on its feathers.

definitely seems very alert. nice capture. hope all is well.
Very crisp and good detail in an interesting bird. Boom & Gary of The Vermilon River.
Nice image - good focus showing plenty of detail.
A lovely capture.
That is the craziest little shawl your Dove has! It reminds me of the Fox stole my Grandmother used to wear! Wonderful shot.
Great photo of the dove. They are a nice looking bird but they are taking over from the native species up here in SE Qld.
Excellent portrait. :)
I love Doves. We have a lot of mourning doves here but I have yet to get a good shot of one. Your picture is very nice!
Nice shot of the Spotted Dove Gemma! I'm sorry to hear that the spread of this introduced (non-native) species is threatening the native doves.
a beautiful dove -- I really like that pattern on the back of its neck!
They are great at fence sitting, a bit like politicians.
great shot. Looks like a European Turtle dove
Nice - these dots are amazing.
What an interesting looking Dove. It makes the Mourning Doves here look quite plain and boring.
