Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Kookaburras are always a joy in my world in the Dromana Hills, Mornington Peninsula.
Believe it or not, the ones second from the left and far right are both Spring babies.
Feeding them seems to be a family affair.

Sweet photos, Gemma. Thank you for sharing my favorite bird in all the world, that I have not yet met! :)
Great bird - and that portrait photo is very cool!
Gemma,
What a line up of characters! My anthropomorphic tendencies are shifting into overdrive. The detail in your photography is impressive and I can not stop saying Kookaburra!
;-)WBW
OH these are gorgeous! Love the detail super shot. Thanks for sharing.
Aren't they just the cutest lil' babies...all in a row, what a fun shot Gemma, is there a bit of chattering going on there, I can imagine so!
Boy is it cold today, we actually had a bit of snow, not much, just a skiff, but the cold, I just don't want to go anywhere near the outside...brrrr...!!
Talk to me of warmer weather...please!!!

Aren't they wonderful. Great catch.
What was that childhood rhyme that started out:
Three little birdies sitting on a fence---I don't know the rest.
Well we could make it fit for 4 little birdies.....

Awww....super sweet birds!!! Wish we had here.:)
That's a cute gang, nice catch! The second photo is very sharp and detailed, increase the contrast and give it some vibrance/saturation, that should make it even better :)
Great shots Gemma, just like politicians . . . fence sitting!
Love the Kookaburras.
