AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Empty Vessels Are Empty?

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ A new Science room at my school in waiting for the trappings of Science!
One Single Impression #131 ~ Empty

Without furniture
A room's empty of purpose
Speechless dialogue

Without energy
Life's empty of sweet songlines
The soul's in limbo

But dreams awaken
Creative light prisms dance

The possibilities are always so exciting. I really liked teaching science. I mostly used art as my vehicle, since I didn't have a room with "science" stuff.

Beautifully put in words - possibilities exist when there is emptiness.

Thank you.

Beautiful Haikus woven together. Sometimes an empty room can be fun too... :)

Loved the various possibilities of emptiness. Nice Haikus. Liked the line:

I like empty rooms, especially with the light streaming in. This was such a great interpretation of the prompt.
