AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

I'm loking forward to seeing the Mornington Peninsula myself soon. It was recently voted the best place in the world to live!

What wonderful tempestuous waves, contrasting with the solid and rounded rocks!

Dramatic shot and beautiful words. I think bold identity sums it up perfectly.

Lovely ocean scene. I love the sea and am blessed to live only about three miles from the Pacific coast, south of San Francisco, about fifteen miles. I love the ocean in all its many moods and it has afforded me some great pictures.

I did a wonderful two week, Sydney to Auckland cruise about 14 years ago...only two weeks before in Sydney, one day stops in Melbourne and Hobart - not nearly enough.

At 65, I've done it! My poetry book - Life's Journey by Carmen Henesy - is out on Amazon!
( Poems about the things that have been important to me in my journey through life, some humorous, some sad, some that may have meaning to you as well ) -
( check it out and read the reviews! )
