Passing Thoughts #1 ~ Memory and DNA
+
Monday Poetry Train Revisited #93
~
What if our memory is not really
A function solely of the mind
But the role of all sensory receptors in the body
What if the mind is only one memory storage of a current life
What if DNA is the hunter
The gatherer
The harvester
The collector
What if
We don't always know what we know
What if
It takes an experience to activate
Distant memories
What if
Sometimes
It takes the meeting with
Others
(Any living being
Plant
Human
Maybe energy recognition)
To complete
The puzzle of
Who we really are
Just passing thoughts...

AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

love the prism you captured on the ceiling of the school. and your thoughts are provoking, very interesting. hope all is well.
Great photo. Colorful prism through the glass!
I thought I'd come over here when it wasn't Ruby Tuesday or Shadow Shot Sunday. I was not disappointed.
Those thoughts themselves are thought provoking. I oftentimes wonder what it is all about, life, that is, our existence, and whether or net we may have been here before in another form.
Certain activities or places give me a "feeling" like I've been here before orsomething. Great stuff to wonder about, intriguing.
Now I'll have something to think about all day long, and I'll look for prisms, suppose to be sunny and bright today in my neck of the woods.
Peace.
love the prism. i'm always fascinated by the play of colour/light.
I believe in cellular memory, that we hold more than we know. I also trip out on the idea of how many other people have breathed the air I'm breathing. People long gone.
