Writer's Island 2010 ~ Prompt #15 ~ Spellbound
~
It was one of those cluttered Saturday mornings
Intimidating date with the weekly shopping routine
Gorgeous weather mockingly watching our dutiful engagement with
The inevitable
But on the way home
Car boot laden
Somehow the light
Sensuously beckoned
A brief relief by Dromana pier
Magical
Undulating dance of
Light rippling on
The breath of
Water
Spellbound by
The art of light
Spellbound

This is wonderful! I love the way you take the poem from the mundane to the sublime. And the visuals are lovely, too.
A truly magical moment.
A beautiful moment indeed. And I just love the photo you chose to highlight your poem!
Oh, beautiful! Beautiful response to the new prompt. Light, water, light on water, always weave spells around me. So glad for the on the way home... that resulted in this lovely post. Thank you
Thank you for this one. I just took a break and went outside to sit on the patio for a few minutes, was thinking that the only thing missing was sunlight on water. And came back to this feast. Wonderful,
Elizabeth
