Magical vineyard
A touch of red by the vine
The wine of beauty
~
P.S. After many rollercoaster chess games, as of today, finally Julia Gillard is officially our Prime Minister. We have a Labour government.
Somehow a post/toast of wine seems very timely.

Passing Thoughts #2 ~ Election Day Begins

Passing Thoughts #2 ~ Election Day Begins
~

Strange, moody skies opened
The Australian day of campaign reckoning

The interim Labour lady
The smiling assassin
Would she be the ongoing Pied Piper

Or would the Liberal man of many "um's"
Work straight for some new choices

Some feel Australia should move forward
The Green way

Meanwhile
My morning kookaburra guests
Just felt
A good breakfast
To begin a new day was
Long overdue
~
NOTES: Labour lady = Julia Gillard (first female PM) who ousted Prime Minister Kevin Rudd
Liberal man = Tony Abbott
The Greens headed by Bob Brown
