Such a lovely little bird. I have only ever seen Kookaburra's in zoos and heard them on the television while watching nature shows. Must be lovely to see them in the wild.

The kookaburra indeed loos as if he is a tradesman whose clothes may be rumpled but is okay as there is no need to dress up for work. The bird's plumage does look unkempt - but what can one say about a bird that scrounges while looking for food? That's his job and it looks like he does it very well!
