The Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation was established in 1998 (merging several existing groups).
It perpetuates the memory of police killed in the line of duty.
There are 16 branches across Victoria, with the base at Moorabbin, an inner suburb of Melbourne.
A branch on my Mornington Peninsula is quite new - established 2011.
It is at Frankston Heights.

Have not seen this before.
Is it just me, or is it odd that the Blue Ribbon Foundation has a van with a yellow ribbon on it?
This is very impressive (and to have the names go back as far as the 1850s is also impressive!)
Good, a constant reminder of their sacrifice.
