AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

Yes, it sort of seems that way.. Maybe its a starting point of a race than the race itself :) Lovely thought in a thought provoking haiku!

Oh, my goodness, Gemma! If school is a race, then I'm loosing it fast! I seem to be dragging through the days in a daze or haze! Thanks for your observation, though.

School alwasy does seem like ou are racing to get somewhere else - in Kindergarten they tell you, you have to do it this way in first grade - but don't let you wait until first grade - in Middle school they tell you this is how it's done in HS but don't let you wait until you're there. In HS they tell you this is how it's done in college... In college - the "real world" or grad school or med school. Racing forward always
