The amber glow is so warming, a welcoming soft light that is relaxing. Lovely

I hope that your arm is healing as fast as your body allows. I've worn a couple of casts, and the speed is not what we want. But we hope for a correct healing, the bones to be as good as new...

I do love colored glass shadows -- as I'm sure you know, and this one is gorgeous! Love the gold color and such a beautiful jug! Delightful, Gemma, as always!

Wonderful warm yellow shadow.
It takes a photographer with your talent to do this well while working with one arm, Gemma.

Oh friend, I worry about broken bones all the time and how disabling it would be. As we age the balance just isn't there and the falls are so much harder on us, though I've not had one, the possibilities are always there.

I feel your pain for the walks and the photographs you long to take, I too have been nowhere, the cost of gas keeps me home, no exotic travels for me until the economy in my blue collar town improves, it's a daily struggle! We are actually exploring other options for our shop, actually moving to another city being one. It's a hard choice, but when a town doesn't support, you have to move on...so sad!

Thankfully I have the mini-farm to keep me in smiles all the day long...my chickens are a hoot, they follow me everywhere, especially the main rooster, he cracks me up! Today is starting to be a glorious day, a perfect thunderstorm last night, giving much needed rainfall, so today I'm in my gardens, moving plants to new locals where they will have more room and I will have a more visually appealing setting in my paradise...however, it doesn't take much for me!

I busy myself chasing the neighbors cats from my baby birds that are peeping all over the place and picking the wild asparagus that grows in the ditches, they will make a perfect meal 'long side the broccoli I will be harvesting today, as well...yummm!!!

So take care my dearest friend, I'm sending you warm, healing messages on the wind, can you hear them, they're tip-toeing on the tides, those watery steps to your 'down under'...thinking of you always, hugs!!!

Oh Gemma, your golden, amber glass ShadowShot is lovely. I like the way the texture of the glass is imprinted on the tabletop! Happy SSS.

"Just an amber jug" turned into an extraordinary work of magic with the addition of some sunshine!

MY BLINGLESS SHADOW

A shadow’s an odd sort of thing;
It might have a nose or a wing,
A tail like a dog,
A bump like a log,
But one thing it has not is bling!
