Fragmented Sunlight

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Chair and large ornamental vase/goblet in my dentist's waiting room.
(Timing to take a photo of this while the receptionist wasn't looking kept my mind off other things!)
Weekend in Black and White meme

Shadowy textures
Fragments of sunlight at play
A sense of stillness

We had similar ideas this week, but your photo is way more artistic! Lovely light, and I hope your visit wasn't too painful.

It can be a problematic when you have a camera and other people become suspicious. That is a really interesting vase. I could imagine myself relaxing in that chair, just not at the dentist ;-)

On Tuesday I had a four hour wait for a toenail removal... and did not have a camera with me. You remind me of my error.

Those stuffs (the vase and sofa) create impressive composition. The sunlight adds the contrast touch :)
