Hello lil sister...boy the traffic on the highway is busy this morning, as we are all feeling the springtime ever so near. The ice is melted from the river and I feel a drive coming on for some photos. Right now it's still in the 30's, but as the snows melt, the air warms, we grab all the bits of it we can!

I'm going to hang my porch swing today, it's been in storage all winter. This will give Mother Nature the go-ahead to start warming up the place...we are all so ready for it!

It gets harder every year, the older we get, to tolerate the cold...but we endure, we have to...what are going to do, all of us move to Florida...now that's a thought I rather relish!!!

Hope all is well in your neck o the woods, you can see the Autumn in your skies, I'm glad that you don't have the snows, then we'd all have to tolerate the whining that we do all winter long...ha!

Take care this beautiful Sunday and know that warmer hugs are coming from Iowa!!!

I love the shape that your veranda created by way of a shadow. I don't know why it's so hard for me to imagine that you are headed towards Autumn now as we head into spring.

What a lovely shadow shadow shot, Gemma! Love the green! We're seeing more and more here, but I know you're headed the other way towards fall! How funny that seems! Your words, as always, are the perfect match for the image! Hope you're enjoying a great weekend!

The shadow is complex but with a delicately engineered look. The feeling of depth, almost 3-D, is what I see even if the photo is merely two dimensional. It is a wonderful shadow, artistry on a beautiful lawn...

What a fabulous glowing green. The shadows are so descriptive; I can just imagine your verandah.

Well, that is an interesting shadow. I tried to figure it out before reading your commentary. I was close.

Green, that's what most of the people would like to see in their lives right now! :)
Happy SS Sunday!

That is very arty looking. The big shadow shape almost looks like a car. Kind of. With a little imagination. It appears to be a very sunny day when you took that photo. I haven't seen sunshine for about a week. Very unusual for Brissy. The rain has been nice though. Hope you have a fabbo week head Gemma!
