i totally love the just off centeredness of this picture... the translation from color to black and white is phenomenal as well...

Gemma,

You are becoming better and better with photography! This is glossy and worthy of some space in a Lifestyle magazine page. And the words in Haiku form to compliment the photgraphy made this post rich and strong in imagery both in tangible form and in words.

Thank you for your visits in my weeb nook even during the time of my long absence, I mentioned in my reply to your comment that I become recently busy writing for a celebrity in the Philippines as one of the Global Filipinos who maintain her website. Please find link below of the video where Laarni Lozada sings "The Prayer" in her earlier moments as a contestant to a singing competition where she was declared winner.

I'm rearranging my schedules so I can regularly update and visit your writing sites again.

Thank you very much for keeping your faith in my writing.

I wish you well.

I like the way the curtains in the back look almost like a sunburst.

Nice design in B&W.

Very interesting content. Without colors not easy to identify.
But I saw it then by Mellow Yellow! *gg*

Gemma, I loved this picture - there is so much happening in it and the black&white made it even more exciting! Greetings from West Africa,
Esther

Very creative choice for MM. I love how the bowl is framed by the soft, gentle lines of the curtain and the more angular lines of the table. Enjoy the day.

I enjoyed the monochrome treatment of this photograph and have made a mental note to do some experimentation of my own one of these days.
Hugs and blessings,

Love the feature piled on the books, I do this all the time, cause I can pile way more junk all around. But such is the life of the mad antique dealer...but what fun to decorate ones home!

I hope the flames are slowing, the shots of the smoke must be devastating, since you knew what once was. What a glorious view hidden in the aftermath of the carnage.

I lived in Colorado when they had a devistating forest fire, about 10miles from our house in the mountains. You could see the smoke for miles and the sunsets were spectacular, but we all had anxiety not knowing where the winds would blow next...very scarey, we lucked out.

Have a wonderful day friend!

PS...forgot to mention...my dear friend Barb from Sisters'Garden called the other night, her sisters' house burned completely to the ground last Friday night, no one was home, but the 18 firetrucks couldn't get to the home because of the overturned truck in the road, the roads were ice and snow-covered from a recent storm, nothing but the foundation was left.

Fire is unforgiving and you just have to pick up and start again...surreal...SUCKS!
