Broken-Winged Cockatoo

This white cockatoo has a broken wing.
But he seems to be able to fly quite well!
We have seen him round our home for several years and we've named him Gammy!

A gathering of winged characters - 2 cormorants and gulls - line up on an old weathered beam at Tootgarook on the southern end of the Mornington Peninsula.

Here, a little swallow has just swooped a butcher bird on our flag pole!

Bee on a Spring flower in my garden in the Dromana Hills.
The flower is commonly known as Patterson's Curse!
I'm not sure if the name is because the plant can spread wildly or the fact it attracts so many bees!
