one of the early songs I learn when I was in Borneo, kukabarra sits on the old gum tree .
I deliberately spelt kukabarra this way because it sounded this was t non english speaking kids,
Ever since I saw a Kookaburra on an Australian blog and heard his laughing it became my favorite bird ! Sad that we don't have them here !
I smile every time I hear (or read) the name of this bird! such a pretty picture.
