Survivors

It's good to see that some Spring flowers are survivng all the heavy, cold winds and rain!

White gems and shadows
Clustered together for strength
Tiny energy

The flowers have been awaiting Spring all winter, and will not be denied their exuberance as the warmth (mostly) enters the land. No wind is too cold to stem the flower's Spring excitement...

They are so pretty.
I am tired of the 95 degree weather here, but I guess not enough to think about winter coming. :)

it does make you wonder how such delicate things survive the elements. as i sat with my morning coffee today and heard the chickadee's song...it made me think of the winter cold that they endure. here's to warm, sunny days ahead for you gemma.
