Hello, Gemma! These are wonderful photos. I like the sense of movement in them.

I don't know if you know it, but I put up a link every Friday to Weekend Mailbox.

Have a lovely day!

As all have noted, the long shadows allow the feeling of motion. The competitive spirit is there, but all pose in a non-competitive manner at breakfast. A great post!

Nice action shots. Love the almost off the ground shadow in the first and the frozen ball in the second.

I like how you even captured the ball's shadow in the second shot!

I hope someone will join you in hosting SSS. It's one of my favorite parts of the weekend!

Lovely shots! I'm feeling exhausted just looking them! They have far more energy than I have!

Hope you've had a super weekend Gemma!

I had this thought that the shadows were playing a game of their own
I love when a photo sparks some whimsy as these do

An end of an era in sight, as Tracy puts to rest the SSS. We've met so many great peoples from across the waters...it's been such a pain for me because of my aging pc, posting comments just takes FOREVER, don't know why, but yours takes even longer...GEESH...I am so looking forward to a new computer, but we've been so busy at the shop, I haven't even had time to research it, but I'm not complaining, it's good to finally see the traffic. I'm not deluding myself though, I know it will drop off after the holidays, especially when the snows really kick in!

But we must stay in contact, I simply must enjoy your summers(even if they take forever to get there)it brings a spark of sunshine into my cold, dreary winter with your shots of the beach and the skylines of your wonderful Australia.

We're getting sunshine this morning and the temp is a balmy 21 degrees, way better than yesterday...but it is what it is, winter in Iowa. Take care dearest sister from afar, I think of you often!

Hugs a bunch!
