Just for Fun #1 ~ Venturia
~
ROCK BAND + FIRST ALBUM
The Rules
1. - Go to Wikipedia and hit random. The first random Wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2. - Go to quotationspage.com and hit random. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3. - Go to Flickr and click on “explore the last seven days”. Third picture no matter what ...it is, will be your album cover.
4 - Use Photoshop, picnik.com or picasa, etc. to put it all together.
~
My Process
1. Venturia can mean different things:
The genus of fungi Venturia (see also Venturia inaequalis)
A town in the USA, see Venturia, North Dakota
The mother of Coriolanus, a legendary Roman general who lived in the 5th century BC, and whose story was told by Plutarch, Livy, and Shakespeare.
2. restrictions placed upon it - Gloria Swanson - US actress (1899 - 1983)
Never say never, for if you live long enough, chances are you will not be able to abide by its restrictions. Never is a long, undependable time, and life is too full of rich possibilities to have restrictions placed upon it.
3. aishia_captures = float on
NOTE: and we'll all float on okay was already part of the original Flickr image!
4. picnik
Fickle social seas
Restrictions surf around us
Just keep floating on

I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)
