Interesting name of this little beauty. Just googled this relative of the Magpie. Similar behaviour as some of our Shrikes. I won't add more. lol

Seeing sweet lil' critters like this just makes me want to grab my paint brush and start an image in softness.

I can so identify with the flooding, it's so tragic anywhere in the world...my heart goes out to your fellow Aussies Gemma!!!
