The last line of your haiku pulls together thought and picture. Well done. Have a great day.

I love touring your countryside and reading your song lines, I only wish our winters were as temperate as yours, our winter flowers would be crispy critters, nothing but bare bones everywhere.

The parrots are fantastic and I'll bet noisy and full of antics.

Long weekends are wonderful, hope you don't get buried in papers though, that is something I could never do...I'd never get anything done for my goofing off...try to have a little goof off time friend!

...and take lots of pictures!!!

That's great Gemma. Much more interesting than the usual signage found on the sides of trucks! Enjoy the public holiday tomorrow. I'll enjoy being able to sleep in on a Monday. I often sleep in on Mondays but this week my boss has no reason to yell at me for doing so ;D

Very nice shadow on that truck, allways liked free forms. Love the color of the light too. Soft yellow late afternoon sun, lovely. Happy SSS!

You write haiku too! Very nice! I'll be back, Gemma. (Thanks for stopping by my blog.)

Beautiful haiku, and I love the way the tree shadows fall on that truck. It is almost as if the truck were a veil, with the tree shadows coming from behind it. Very mysterious.

Wow - what a great blog - love your shadow picture too. It's really weird to see Australia in the rain - we think of it over here as always being sunny. Thanks for dropping by by logs xxx

Marvelous pairing ...
I usually visit your site through various Mr. Linky links, but today I clicked HOME to view ALL your posts at once. I'm amazed at how prolific you are each day and surprised at all I've missed when I don't check all the various memes. I need to get back into the habit of opening Google Reader again ... seriously!
Hugs and blessings,
