oh gemma,, that is an amazing shot.. what a boon to have the moon in exactly that position when you took the shot!!!!
Oh, how lovely! This actually reminds me of some Japanese art my Dad bought when he was in Japan in th 1950's. So simple, yet so beautiful!
Gemma, what a beautiful shot. Your kookaburra is very similar to our kingfisher. I love the sun/moon dappled spots on it's chest. Absolutely brilliant. Well done.
Your picture is perfect. Art at its highest form. The sepia tone works well here and the Kookaburra looks content just taking in the sun/ moon together.
what a wonderfully composed image. a winner of a shot.
It does remind one of Japanese art. It's very surreal.
Lovely Gemma!
My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.
Lovley take!
Beautiful sepiatones :)
Have a great week!
Mine is up too :)

That is so cool!
The bird seems diminutive but appears to be a giant on the spindly and delicate branches. The sepia sky is soft and really only highlights the life story here of the living bird and sun...
you have the eye of an artist :)
I love this shot, Gemma! Very nice composition. I bet it's lovely in colour too.
This is an outstanding image! The composition and the sepia color are both great.
Very awesome shot. The tiny branches are perfectly situated around the bird who just looks like it might swoop down and take a bite out of the moon.
Whoa, that's an awesome shot! Looks really nice in sepia, too!
A very enjoyable capture.
Smiles Barbara
