Boom Time

Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Dawn light on the hottest day on record in Melbourne.
It reached 46.4 degrees centigrade.
This image is taken in the Dromana Hills, Mornington Peninsula, south of Melbourne on Port Phillip Bay.
(Records began in 1855)
By the close of the day, the whole state of Victoria, Australia seemed on fire.
Strangely, Arthurs Seat National Park (just behind my home) escaped.
There were just a couple of small fires in my area, but not in the park.
I feel blessed.
