Right now, my deck is covered with squirrels and winter birds gathering seeds from the feeders, as the new snows have covered their food sources.
It still snows into the day, but we know spring is each day closer...as is your winter...seasons still come and go as the pages in our lives keep writing sonnets...life is good!
Have a wonderful Sunday friend!

Never tired of cockatoos! this is a lovely shot!
I never get tired of cockatoos. However, they partly destroyed the roof of my brother's home unit some years back, so he's not too keen on them!
Lots of lovely shadows here, they must have been very hungry!
Love the cockatoos, never tire of seeing them and your shadow shot is just great!
Amazing! I'd love this! :)
Those cockatoos can visit my home anytime, wonderful shadows :D
What a tame fellas! They never hurt anyone, so I guess no one of us get tired of your cockatoos!
Cheers!
Hi Gemma, finally i can leave a comment!! I have been visiting but sometimes your blog won't even load and times when I have tried to leave a comment, have been unable? Anyway, I too am loving all your bird shots in particular i like that little fluffed up dove! And the cockatoos, such characters, i would get nothing done, i would be sitting there with my camera all day!! Have a happy Sunday. Annette :0)
Wild Cockatoos how great is that!? What a wonderful site to wake up too.
Oh Gemma I'll never get tired of seeing your cockatoo visitors! This is such a happy shot. I only wish cockatoos would visit my house...they just fly right on by, never dropping in to hang out for a bit :( So I enjoy seeing your feathered friends. Happy Sunday to you & your cocky buddies!
What a fun thing to see out of your window! We have squirls...evil squirls that like to eat my wicker furniture, plants that I put out on my porch, and jack-o-lanterns in the fall....yes, cockatoos would be much better!
I'm loving the Cockatoos...nice shadow shot!!
Right now my deck is covered with snow. Again.
How could anyone ever get tired of seeing wild cockatoos? Thanks for sharing them with us!
Great shadow shot! And, unique for those of us in North America!
That is amazing. And I agree with onevintage: being from California, I have never seen a wild cocatoo!
Love the monochrome cockatoos...very photogenic..
