I have just been watching the doves in my garden! One was having a sandbath although there is plenty of water in bowls and birdbaths. Dove - symbol of peace! May they spread their wings of peace over you too!
Pretty dove! Have so many of these in my back garden. I love watching them and their soft cooing is so peaceful!

There's a dove 'round these parts we call the "mourning dove". It has a soft coo that sounds sort of like mournful weeping, thus the name. They are gentle, timid creatures.

Being graced by a dove is a nice gift. And nice shadows in your photo.
I seldom see doves on the ground looking so 'fluffy' ... they're usually sitting in pairs on high wires around here. My Shadow Shot was at Happily Retired Gal last weekend.
